We produce in runs of a few dozen, not a few thousand. It means we sell out of some pieces and that is fine — it keeps us from overproducing, guessing wrong on colors, or sitting on unsold stock that eventually gets discarded. It also means every workshop we use is small enough that we can visit it ourselves.
